A cultural bridge, not a recruiter
Project Shree Ram is an independent, nonprofit cultural and advocacy initiative. We are not a government body, a staffing agency, or a placement company. We do not process job applications, charge fees, or place workers. Our purpose is to celebrate the historic friendship between Hindus and Jews and to help Indian citizens find the correct, official channels already established between the Governments of India and Israel.
A Torah Concept
Ger Toshav -- the righteous resident
In Torah tradition, a Ger Toshav is a non-Jewish resident who lives among the Jewish people, upholds the universal Noahide principles, and in turn is owed protection, dignity, and a place of honor in the land. It is a framework of mutual respect and covenant, not conquest -- one people welcoming another who shares its ethical foundations. We believe the historic bond between Hindus and Jews, two of the world's oldest continuous civilizations, echoes that same spirit of hospitality and shared moral seriousness.
The Cochin Jews of Kerala are among the world's oldest Jewish communities -- welcomed on India's Malabar coast for nearly two thousand years and granted land and protection by Hindu rulers. Their story is a living example of the Ger Toshav ideal: two peoples sharing one home in mutual respect.

The Real Opportunity
Bilateral labor pathways already exist
India and Israel have an active government-to-government labor mobility framework covering sectors such as elder care, agriculture, and construction. These programs are run entirely by the two governments -- not by us. If you are interested in working in Israel, the correct and only legitimate first step is through these official portals:
Our organization is calling on both governments to rapidly and exponentially increase cooperation, with a near-term goal of Israel absorbing one million Hindu nationals. Such a step would boost Israel's population by roughly 10%, while representing only about 0.07% of India's current population of nearly 1.48 billion.

- Set a shared near-term goal of welcoming one million Hindu nationals to Israel through fully legal, voluntary channels
- Invest in the cultural, linguistic, and religious infrastructure needed for a thriving Hindu community in Israel, consistent with the Torah concept of Ger Toshav
