About Project Shree Ram
A Hindu–Jewish cultural and advocacy nonprofit — and, just as importantly, what we are not.
Who We Are
A cultural bridge, not a recruiter
Project Shree Ram is an independent, nonprofit cultural and advocacy initiative. We are not a government body, a staffing agency, or a placement company. We do not process job applications, charge fees, or place workers. Our purpose is to celebrate the historic friendship between Hindus and Jews and to help Indian citizens find the correct, official channels already established between the Governments of India and Israel.
We are volunteers and supporters who believe the friendship between two of the world’s oldest living civilizations deserves to be told — and that Indians who wish to work in Israel deserve honest, fee-free information about the pathways that already exist.
What We Believe
Ger Toshav — a covenant of respect
In Torah tradition, a Ger Toshav is a non-Jewish resident who lives among the Jewish people, upholds the universal Noahide principles, and in turn is owed protection, dignity, and a place of honor in the land. It is a framework of mutual respect and covenant, not conquest. We believe the historic bond between Hindus and Jews echoes that same spirit of hospitality and shared moral seriousness.
Our Role, Plainly
What we do — and what we don’t
We do
- Tell the story of the Hindu–Jewish friendship
- Point people toward the official government pathways
- Run a public petition calling for expanded legal cooperation
We do not
- Process job applications or place workers
- Charge fees of any kind
- Guarantee jobs, visas, or faster processing
